The design was too cute for our natural and simple style, and the checker board reminded me of a logo for jam and jellies. It actually would be great for that.
Perhaps a black on white is better. Like the third image, but a little thicker. Kind of a classy stationary border. Then a graphic depiction of tall grasses with the beautiful oberhasli goats peaking their heads up through the grasses. Simple, elegant, modern. Not fussy. I like a fond like the one we use on our labels. I print them from Avery.com the fond is called Segoe. Or something similar. I have decided I want Silver Prairie Natural Soap Company. It is long, but it doesn't have to be a thick fond.

Please take a look at the Land Rover logo. There is something nice about it. I has kind of movement with the lighter spot in the top left area.

Land Rover logo i's a totaly different think from what you ask. See the last sumision and tell me if we go on that direction or we try somethink like Land Rover. Use feedback and add somethink to Quality, Creativity, Fonts and Color please.

First i's something to know. When I sumited was none design sumited and a day past. I was the first trying to made something. What you can see up i's what we call feedback. But she did not know about the feedback and she answer me true comments section.
Second. Thanks to me you have every thing you need to do the design up. I do not have more info that you so we are equal. You can design a design as good as mine becouse you have the same info and photo. If it was a paeticular feedback, which you know i's happening often, when the onwer of the contest work with one or two designers, you want have this informatin.
Three. Thank's to tou she did not answer to me any more so I waste some hours from my time for nothig. And you know how painful i's after you work with a client doing revision instad to do new one, and in the end some one else, come after you to be the winner.
So mate, you made me more bad that I made you. So you can go with open hart in this contest, you have the same informations as me and she not working with me anymore. But remember that thanks to me.
