Logo Design Brief

Rain is a hybrid social enterprise and advocacy organization that is in search of a logo to power our corporate identity.

We operate at the intersection of business, technology, government and the non-profit sector to promote much needed changes in national social issues (i.e. Veteran's rights, women's issues, etc). As an organization we develop far-reaching, public awareness campaigns focused on educating the public on the need for change and driving them to action.

We're in a very unique position because our logo must convey all of these sectors. We want our corporate identity to include the power associated with politics and innovation associated with technology, as well as the level-headedness of the non-profit sector.

Requirements

Must have

• We'd like to use a primary to bold shade of blue as the logo's primary color. We're open in terms of secondary colors.
  
  The logo must include some kind of artwork in addition to the company name and tagline.
  
  We're open to just about any kind of artwork, but have been discussing using an abstract interpretation of raindrop(s) imagery.

Should not have

• We'd like to steer clear of any ties to the environment, so please avoid using too much green, fonts that feel too "organic" or any artwork that might convey this image.
