Logo Design Brief
To create a new design.
The logo would be for the Carer Support Needs Assessment Tool, CSNAT for short.
This is a copyright assessment tool which has been developed to support family carers who are looking after someone at home towards the end of life. It covers all the main aspects that family carers need help with in this situation, and is designed to help health care professionals to explore fully with family carers what their support needs are.
It should have reasonably ‘sober’ design, but preferably communicate the ‘caring’ aspect of its function. We are looking for something simple/timeless (as opposed to either traditional or modern in the slider below) to suit a range of ages and prevent it from dating too quickly.
It needs to work both against a white and a coloured background. So far we have found that light green may work well as a colour for the logo itself, but are willing to explore several options.
The logo will be used to head the CSNAT assessment form itself, all documentation and training materials for the CSNAT, and the CSNAT website (in development
Logo Text:

(if there is a way of incorporating what CSNAT stands for, i.e. Carer Support Needs Assessment Tool, this would be good, but this would probably be too ’messy’)

Thank you for all your designs to date. We haven't quite got the right one yet. Just some feedback and a suggestion that may be of help in getting the right design:
The design we want is fairly simple and 'sober', yet something that looks professional and doesn't date easily.
Some of you have supplied an image to go with the CSNAT text. That could be an option for us, but it then really needs to be the right image.
One image idea that you may want to work with comes from a comment made in connection with CSNAT that "It's the key that unlocks the door"; that is, people have to be recognised as carers and have their support needs assessed in order to get the support they need to cope with looking after their loved ones. CSNAT is key to this process.
We may still go for an 'image-free' design, but the suggestion may spark a few ideas with some of you that 'hit the spot'.
We will review the designs that have been submitted in more detail over the next few days as well, and provide individual feedback where relevant.
