Packaging Design Brief

I need a new package design for a foam Booster Seat called a COOSHEE. I want the product/brand to be the name of the product; i.e. laminate, kleenex, cooshee.

It's a soft foam booster seat for toddlers 3yrs and up. "It's the awesome seat that's "COOL" to sit on, stays put with the weight of a child. Guaranteed to keep a wriggling toddler seated longer or your money back!

See previous package attached: Clear Vinyl Carry bag with Handles
and Zipper. The product was visible, however the plastic would
put dents in the foam and would not sit well on the shelves.

Requirements

Must have

• -The dimensions of the product are 14" x 14" x 6" High, but not a solid, it has ARMS like an 'armbooster' and a sunken seat. Competition has no arms.
  
  -The Box needs to have openings so to FEEL the soft foam. But openings only at the areas where there is foam, not in the seat area, because that would not be visible.
  
  -Openings to show the (6) SIX bright colors: Magenta Pink, LIME green, Blue, Chai Tan, and Onyx Black.
  
  
  -The product line is kind of like CROCS. In other words ALL my products will be of FOAM. Bright Colors. One Piece. Simple design. Very functional thru design. No hard parts, no separate parts/pieces at all. The FOAM is indestructable. ***Our NEW foam.
  
  COOSHEE is the Softest Foam
  
  -Looking for a box that says COOSHEE.
  
  -The words could be 3 dimensional, maybe, in the foam material (image/photo) look?

Nice to have

• MODERN design is very popular. At the trade shows there is a modern child area. All the best brands; boon, oxo, and others are very modern brands.
  
  But I'm looking for something a little edgy!
  
  The box needs coloring that will allow bright colors to PEEK out of the openings, yet leave the package design to say SMART & COOSHEE.
  
  I would like to capture SMART like the smart car. BabySmart's products are SMART. They create Positive Parenting because they are BEHAVIORIAL AIDS that help parents parent smarter.
  
  Since a booster seat is SOFT and Cooshee the child will want to stay seated longer.
  
  "Little kids learn to Behave like "BIGKIDS"!
  
  But I'm looking for an edgy look and feel!
  
  Maybe instead of my photos, the photos are made into "american anime or illustrated kids, with an endearing look.
  
  Package needs to be 100% recycled - GREEN
  GREEN packaging- Is LESS packaging.
  
  No plastic is needed in the windows.
  
  The box needs to be open, to feel the cooshee foam.

• No cutsey Smart stuff; building blocks, graduation hats, etc
  Not too much color:
  
  The product design, form, shape and COLOR
  needs to stand out.
