Logo Design Brief
We need a Logo design for a new website called "The Australian Startup Awards". The startup awards are sponsored by an entrepreneur incubator called the Entourage. The Entourage are Australis's largest group of educators for entrepreneur's under 40 years old. As the logo will be used on the website it should probably be typographic with an additional graphic element presented in a horizontal format. Very cutting edge in style. It will sit next to or near "brought to you by the Entourage (see attached Logo). Visit http://www.the-entourage.com.au/events/unconvention/ to see The Entourage current branding and website. The sub brand logo file shows you other divisions within The Entourage - But The Australian Startup Awards should have a look and feel of its own. Note: You can play with the words, some can be larger than others (ie "the Australian" could be smaller than "Startup Awards") - you could have TASA worked in with the australian startup awards. It has to be clever, unexpected and professional. - see these 3 websites for the style we are needing:

Updates
As yet we have not settled on a logo - but we have launched the site with a temporary logo - - see http://australianstartupawards.com.au/
The startup awards is a sister company to http://www.the-entourage.com.au/ - this shows you the style we are after.
The client has accepted the "startup awards" logotype (that we designed) for now but would like it improved. The font used is - Fengardo neue - Black - I think it could be improved - a suggestion of movement - Flat colours should be used - I think the most important thing would be to develop an icon that represents "the startupawards" and sits along side the text - to sum up you can change the logotype (use suggested font) and ad icon.
