Brochure Design Brief
We need a new tri-fold brochure design for our scuba diving company located in Branson, MO. We've been in business for 14 years and have recently changed our location and name from Scuba Sports to White River Dive Company. Many businesses in the area have the rustic, 1890's lodge aesthetic and we've altered our image to go more in line with some of the resorts we work with.
With over 4 million visitors a year, Branson has more than its share of over-glossed and hi-impact billboards & brochures. We want to have a clean, understated brochure that also has some of the outdoors & rustic themes. Since we work direct with several condo/timeshare resorts in doing scuba classes for their clients, we want to have a clean and professional appearance as well.
We welcome variations or brand-new ideas on our current White River Dive Co logos if you find them to be incompatible or clashing with our design.
We have attached several reference files including two variations of our logo, our current class/education tri-fold, our single-page flyer and two examples of local brochures with different styles we think tie into our ideas for the design.

As you can see from our website, it is in need of some revamp as well, which we are working on. But feel free to pull from there &/or from our certification agency, Professional Association of Dive Instructors (www.padi.com). They have given permission to use their copy & photography for our own websites or advertisement materials, provided they have a final review of anything publicly published. I will upload a few more referral documents/photos today but PADI is likely the best resource.
Updates
Uploaded PDF our original
tri-fold education brochure. Very basic and text heavy. It gives a
good idea of the variety of classes and education available but lacks
(any) panache. Also uploaded PDF of our front/back flyer which is the
closest thing we have right now to a 'public' brochure, mostly left for
cross-promotion with cooperating, outdoor-oriented businesses. Ideally
the information put into the new tri-fold would be along the lines of
what kids' and introductory programs are available, maximizing the
quality of copy instead of the quantity.

Updated with two brochures found here locally. They are differently styled but we find both inspirational for our project.

Thank you very much for the great work everyone submitted. After a lengthy voting and narrowing process, we have made a selection. For those designs not selected, we will be looking to update and put out new materials throughout the year. We will likely call on several of you whom we had such a hard time deciding between.
Cheers
