ORIGINAL BRIEF:

We need a logo design for a vanity phone number and domain/url.

I am about to start licensing the phone number and top position on our website to one attorney per market.

1-800 ATTORNEY is a name and service both attorneys and consumers can get excited about. The 1-800 ATTORNEY phone number/1800attorney.com is the premier legal vanity phone number/domain name in the legal industry. It provides a perfect combination of what attorneys need – more clients and what consumers want – an easy way to find and locate a local attorney they can trust.

We need a logo that is easily and instantly recognizable - one that will stand the test of time (but does not appear to be stuffy, corporate, or boring). More than one attorney will be using the logo on their websites and marketing campaign (television, print, billboard) so it should be flexible in its use.

Initially, the logo will be used in marketing materials (mostly email templates) to get attorneys interested in licensing the phone number. It must pop and draw attention. It must make attorneys want to own this brand in their local markets. So it must be exciting, fresh and different. It must be extraordinary and stand out from all of the other clutter.

At the same time, the same logo will need to be used by the attorneys in their own marketing campaigns. The logo must communicate excellence, honesty, approachability, and respect.

The ultimate audience will be folks who do not know lawyers/attorneys, don't know where to turn for legal advice, and want to be represented (in their time of need) by smart attorneys - attorneys who want to a part of a national legal network and who can go toe to toe with any adversary.

Our current logo is just blah. Looking for something that can really shake things up and get people's attention.

Open to suggestions. RIght now we use tag line, "Your National Legal Network," i dont know if there is a way to play on the idea 'Anyone can hire a lawyer. But when you need real legal help, call 1 800 Attorney" - just a thought. but then i again i am just a dum attorney.
