Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a new company based in New York. I am a psychologist providing consulting services. I devise custom interventions that utilize psychological and educational principles to manage and assess effectiveness of current functioning and determine effective strategies for change with individuals, groups and organizations. This work is best understood within a life coaching frame, however expands on this concept as it focuses on change with individuals and groups.

I use the terms chrysalis and transform to highlight the potential inherent in all persons and groups to make positive change when attention is turned inward to develop strategies for outward transformation.
I'd like fresh colors (orange, sea blue, yellow, brown, coral). I'm drawn to the use of a butterfly, perhaps something to suggest its movement.
I want the final design to communicate peace of mind through engaging in a positive change process.

The target market is predominantly female (20% male), high powered, professional, age 35-55, multicultural.

The attached file is of an Adinkra symbol that means transformation, a major concept of the work I will do with clients. Using this or a butterfly is preferrable.
