Hi Ash, I like your idea, it´s clean and also can be used without the name, just the half circle and the C. The touch and feel resembles a lot though the "chemical" aspect, a little like "BASF - the chemical company". Can you do try more tech-like? It´s a software after all..

Color choice should be sober, grey tones are nice, if color, then only some elements, preferrably green/yellow/red (traffic light)
