Wordpress Design Brief

I am looking for a designer that can help me with to design a theme for www.geotheme.com.

Our website is a map based business directory for things that are great for kids. The name of the website will be www.ollyandelly.com. As you can see, we have already applied theme but we are not happy with the design.

We feel it is too old, stale and looks like a "theme" and would like to completely overhaul the design to give it our own flavour.

This project will require the designer to design 5 pages (uncoded) based on the geotheme wordpress theme.

The pages are:
1) Homepage
2) Business Listing Page
3) Business Details Page
4) Add Listing Page
5) Blog Page (This is page should be more than just a listing of blogs. Imagine designing this as if were the homepage of a blog. It needs to be attention grabbing)

In addition, we would like to you to design custom map pointers that are suitable for the categories:

1) Food - Kids friendly places
2) Inside - Things to do indoor (Cinema, Ice Skating etc)
3) Learn - Classes, Course, Etc
4) Outside - Things to do outside (Zoo, Parks, Bike Riding)
5) Services - service for kids (doctors, babysitting)
6) Shop - Kids Stores
7) Events - Upcoming Events

One of things that we don't like about the current design is that it feels too "blocky" with no differentiation between the various sections of the homepage.

These are just for your reference to showcase the flexibility of the theme and NOT as a design reference because they are all not what we are looking for.

• - The map must be the centre of attention of the design - at the moment, it feels a little small. Make the map larger.
  - Map icons must be redesigned.
  - The rating system needs to be redesigned. We dont like the stars.
