Logo Design Brief
You will be designing a logo for a personal nutrition brand. The company will be an informational website, but will also include nutrition counseling and education. The logo should look good both on a website and an office door. I’m pretty open to designer interpretation. I would like the logo to be clean, professional, and classic…nothing too trendy. It should convey that nutrition can be simple and fun.
I like earthy, subdued or retro colors. Not really a big fan of neon yellow or pink but other bright, bolder colors are OK, especially when paired with a more subdued color. But please don't let this limit you. I look forward to seeing what you come up with!
Updates
First of all, thank you for all the submissions and interest in my project. This has been a fun process so far. I’ve been pretty open as far as the designs and wasn’t quite sure what I wanted. As I review the submissions, there are definitely things I like more than others.
Since you’re branding me, I want to give you a little more insight in the hopes that it will help you with your designs. I’m not a girly girl. I like structured, modern design with clean lines, nothing frilly, borderline masculine. I’m quirky, silly, and loud. I eat organic, but I’m not a crunchy Earth mama.
Onto the designs. I think I like the idea of an abstract or an emblem with text near it, or maybe even incorporated in it, but the NutriJen text doesn’t have to dominate the logo. I like when artists make use of the negative space. I want to steer clear of the leaves I’m seeing on a lot of designs. They are too close to another company with a similar name to mine and I want to steer clear of any association with that. I don’t mind the use of fruits/veggies in the logo, but maybe something different than an apple. I’m more partial to clean fonts and like how sans serif fonts flow, but the only ones I’m ruling out are script.
Thanks again and I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
