Logo Design Brief
We're Trace, and we're reinventing traceability. Organisations running large, complex IT projects normally end up with a whole lot of information spread between emails, documents, spreadsheets, issue managers, wikis, and more. They lose track of how it all hangs together. When updating information in one place, it's hard to know where that could impact. When asked to explain why something was done a particular way, it can take a long time digging to find the reason - if it can be found at all. Trace let's users see that this paragraph in this document relates to that cell in that spreadsheet which in turn relates to these issues and those emails. We'd like to see designs that communicate traceability. The final design should communicate quality, interconnectedness, and ease of use.
Updates
I'd really like to see some pictorial/combination ones drawing on some "network" concepts. https://www.google.com.au/search?q=network&tbm=isch

More specifically, the type of "network-y" ideas I'm looking for are things like this:

Can you bring in some of those concepts: different types of documents, and the connections between them.
