Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for our new company based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada called "Deep Life." Our purpose is to give people the resources and support required to become better leaders, parents, partners and people.

We are looking for a design that is simple and inviting: something that conveys a sense of trust and security with our business clients while at the same time reflects the deeply personal and spiritual natures of this work. In other words: the logo needs to be both corporate and spiritual, but not too much of either. :)

Our company has three primary areas of focus:

1. Business. Through our Deep Leadership programs, we are committed to developing leaders by working one-on-one with business leaders (CEOs, CFOs, managers, etc.) to identify and build on their leadership skills and by working with organizational teams to strengthen communication, clarify purpose, and create an environment of creativity, innovation, support, and respect.

2. Personal. Through our Deep Living programs, we provide opportunities for people to discover their unique gifts as they engage in the work of spiritual growth and transformation. These opportunities include individual coaching sessions, workshops and retreats.

3. Educational. Through our Deep Coaching Institute, we train people to do what we do: listen, coach, teach, consult, and lead...and in so doing, develop more authentic relationships with themselves, with their family and friends and with the world around them.

Our clients are based all over the world, primarily in North America.

Through our logo, we would like to communicate growth and transformation as well as safety and trust. The "mobius knot" or "trefoil knot" were two images we had in mind to convey the three-fold nature of the "Deep Life" company (Deep Leadership, Deep Living and Deep Coaching) as these images convey interconnection and movement (connection and growth are two very important images in our work). We have gone back and forth as to what color(s) to use in the logo and haven't landed on anything in particular, other than we want the image to convey both growth and connection (as I stated earlier). So...something that is exciting and safe, open and trust-worthy.
