Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a nautical apparel and accessories company that primarily targets boaters and beach/ocean lovers. The logo must incorporate the use of an anchor, preferably placed between the two words, and not too elaborate in its design. The logo needs to be simple enough to appeal to both men and women, but no so simple that it looks like I created it in MicroSoft Word. ;-) My vision is that it will be a combination of navy blue and white, but this could be altered depending on need/use, so the logo should be adaptable to that. The final design should communicate a nostalgia for all things nautical and "salty." Its vibe should be casual and relaxed, not formal or overly sophisticated.
This logo will be used primarily on clothing, but also on the internet, social media, and printed materials.
