Logo Design Brief

We are planting a new church in Rio de Janeiro and need a logo. The name of the church is "Igreja do Redentor".

It's important that "IGREJA DO REDENTOR" appears in the logo in some way. It is possible that only "iR" or "IR" would suffice as well, maybe with "Igreja do Redentor" on the side.

It would be nice to have the Christ Statue in the logo, but it is not necessary. "Redentor" in portuguese is the name of the statue, so there is an obvious connect.

I am open to a lettermark or combination-mark type, meaning that I prefer a logo with text and a corresponding image. However we are open to other ideas.

Requirements

Must have

• The name of the church "IGREJA DO REDENTOR" (or iR or IR with the name spelled out on the side). Can be all caps or not.
  
  

Nice to have

• One idea is a Christ statue in the background. Another is more of a traditional word or lettermark logo with IR or iR. Or a combination of the two. The Christ statue is not a must have, however.
  
  I included a file with some ideas. But these are just our amateur ideas. Please dont be limited to them.

Should not have

• We are an evangelical church, therefore no catholic images. Also no cheesy religious imagery. Prefer a modern, clean look.
