Illustration Design Brief
I'm writing a book about the near bankruptcy and spectacular recovery of the LEGO company. The book tells the story of how LEGO tried to innovate in the late 1990s, almost went bankrupt, and restructured its innovation management system. By reinventing the "seven building blocks" of innovation, it has become one of the fastest growing, most profitable, and most innovative companies in the world.
My book publisher has created a lousy cover. It's two big bricks stacked on each other with the first part of the title on the bricks. (See attached file.) Can you do better?
This is a serious business book that is oriented toward managers interested in making their companies more consistently, reliably innovative. It is also the detailed story of LEGO's near death and recovery. The ideal cover would communicate both those ideas.
Updates
Thanks for submitting a design for my cover contest. This was my first book and my first use of DesignCrowd. I was tremendously impressed by the quantity and quality of the designs. I've awarded the money to the first design I saw - it was a great concept for the book and was my favorite. But I don't make the final decision so the book publisher may decide to buy another design as well.
Again, many thanks for your great work.
