Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for our research group called 'CLEAR'. We conduct research in the prevention and treatment of a range of respiratory diseases including Asthma, Cystic Fibrosis and the the affect of environmental exposures on respiratory disease in children. Because our work is varied, with collaborations worldwide we want our logo to be professional. It needs to appeal to a wide demographic including children and not be too complicated in its design. We would like a picture to be included in the design (see "buzz" words for suggestions).
