Logo Design Brief

I am a new photographer from Bunbury (regional Western Australia) who has just started my own business called Maternal Moments Photography. I am currently specialising in pregnancy, newborn and child photography but do not want to limit my logo to this market. If someone asks me to do a wedding I would not say no!

I have a home studio and also offer location shots.

I would like to use the logo on my website, stationary, photos and also on my vehicle.

FEEL - So my logo would ideally be soft and feminine, boutique, polished, emotive

GRAPHICS (if need) - I like swirls, butterflies, lace, flowers other fresh images suggesting childhood, but not incompatible with more grown up photography. I would like the graphic to be not too detailed and it to be fresh, modern and unique.

COLOURS - I love the aqua/turquiose. I also like silver, black and white for ease of matching with envelopes, etc but am open to other colours.

Target Market(s)

I want to target middle income earners. Mostly Mums due to them being the biggest decision makers.

Requirements

Must have

• Maternal Moments Photography in it
  MAKE ME LOOK PROFESSIONAL - currently no logo in use or set font Fresh and Modern
  appeal to women, mums, while not alienating man
  Graphic should be able to be recognisable without the text, in case I need to use the graphic by itself on stickers, etc
  should work as a watermark, on dark and light backgrounds

Nice to have

• GRAPHICS (if need) - I like swirls, butterflies, lace, flowers other fresh images suggesting childhood, but not incompatible with more grown up photography.
  some turquiose in the coloring (preferred, but not firm)
  Not too detailed as it needs to be recognisable standing alone

Should not have

• No pictures of cameras, pregnant bumps, children - must be generic
