Logo Design Brief
Nascent charity project in need of logo. So far I'm calling my project 'Lifeboat'. The ultimate charity will be to provide broad support to people with mood and anxiety disorders including social activity groups, support groups, referrals, and mentors. The first stage will be support groups.
To run an effective fundraising campaign, the Lifeboat will need a logo - one that can be used on Facebook, on the web, and ultimately on business cards. Preferably also as a favicon. ... And as you'll see from my PPT, I'm NO good at visuals.
Target market: Think of the donors as well as the clients. Young (25-34), slightly more likely to be women than men, probably urban, educated to an extent. We want to inspire - inspire clients to seek us out, and inspire donors to get involved.
Open to a range of ideas, including different names. Caps, lower caps on name - whatever works. But I will go for a logo that is crisp and clean - think more of a graphic, not an impressionist painting. Colour combinations are also important to me - I'm not big on black unless there's no other choice.

Hi all,
Well, we're five days in, and I've seen some amazing designs. I'm loving the creativity with colours, and the creative graphics playing on the 'lifeboat' word. There has been some really high quality in the submissions.
I'm trying to get back to everyone individually, but if I've missed you, it's only because DesignCrowd doesn't seem to save copies of what I've already sent - so it's tough to keep track. So be aware that I'm trying to get back to you, and feel free to message me if you have any questions or ideas.
I'm looking forward to see what shakes out over the next few days, and I'm printing all of the submissions out so that we can look at them from every angle!
