Logo Design Brief
We need a logo designed for a new digital journalism company set to launch in Australia. The company will specialise in providing quality multimedia journalism projects for both the online and mobile space. The key topic areas the website will cover are technology, politics, and culture - however it's important to remember that while this is an Australian company the content is designed to be read and watched by a global audience.
What we want to convey to readers is a sense that they are interacting with a young and innovative media company trying to approach journalism differently. Our content will be a mixture of text and multimedia and the logo should reflect this. We also want to convey a sense of trust and authenticity.
- I've attached a version of the current logo, but we want to dramatically improve this and make it truly a great design.

Requirements
Must have
- I'd like to have a logo which will work on light and dark coloured backgrounds.
Nice to have
- A symbol or cut down version of logo which can be used as an avatar on platforms like Twitter as belonging to this website.
Should not have
- I don't want to have a web 2.0 style logo as these are now dated.
