Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a new upscale apartment community called 8 Hundred West. We have conceived the idea of adding Upscale Living in a sub-line.

The logo should be simple, clean and possibly text only with a line or a simple but elegant moniker. We like gray or silver as a color but are open to others. Applications will include:
Business cards, letterhead, brochures, monument sign and web

I have uploaded a very simple and ugly sample I created as an idea.
