Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a new project, its an online cloud solution for security of Drupal or other CMS installations.

The name we have chosen is webflector.

We want the logo to have some sort of reflection of “security, shield, protection, safeguard etc…” It must provide confidence and a good secure, reliable feeling to people seeing it.

We also want to use the techniques of the psychology of color to define what colours we should use:

Blue: trust, reliability
Brown: a serious, down-to-earth color signifying stability, structure and support
Grey: neutral and conservative but does imply security and reliability. It creates a great background for other colors.

Any other options you can think of? Your expertise would be greatly appreciated.
