Book Cover Design Brief
I need a book cover design for my book titled "The Effective Project Manager". The cover style needs to be consistent with my website: http://effective-pm.com. I have uploaded some samples of covers that I think are along the right path. I utilize mind-maps or bubble maps heavily as visual aids throughout the book so I want to drive home the point that I use mind-maps/links between topics, etc to be effective in my job as an effective project manager. I even uploaded a sample photo of me that might work on the cover (a log of self-help books seem to have photos of authors on the covers) but I am open.
The ultimate message of the book - How to manage yourself and manage others in order to be an effective project manager.
If you do all the things in the book and take all the advice you too can become an effective project manager. The delivery style of the content to the reader is conversational in nature - Like I am in the person's living room providing advice based on my 20 years of experience.
The book also provides many different real-world tools (mostly mind-map templates) and charts/graphs to help a project manager manage their projects. Also I provide other tips to the reader (productivity, people and email related)
