Logo Design Brief

Vijana Corps is a Uganda based youth NGO working to achieve a vibrant youth civic participation for social justice and development in Uganda. Our specific objectives are:
To develop a productive and sustainable reading culture for youth empowerment.
To create an information society of youth by increasing access to information and creating platforms for sharing insights and experiences through written, audio and audio-visual media.
To improve youth cognitive and communication abilities on topical issues like human rights, democracy and poverty alleviation by exposing them to debates and independent research.
To build youth work ethics and a spirit of volunteerism for community social good.

THE LOGO:
We need a clean, professional non-profit style logo.
The logo must be communicative enough to depict our objectives.
The logo must be elegant and unique such that when one sees it, they know "THAT'S VIJANA!"

N.B.
We work through community Reading clubs (book clubs), Debate clubs, Film Clubs and youth advocacy programs.

Donor communities in USA and Europe, youth beneficiaries aged 10 to 25, partner organizations in Africa.
