Logo Design Brief

We need a text logo for a new online project. It is going to be a 'how to', magazine style community which we are going to build with the WordPress PressGrid theme. We chose Redpebbl as our country domain and the .com domain was available.

We do love retro colours (see http://www.shutterstock.com/s/retro/search.html), but it still needs to be
- simple
- fresh
- elegant
- modern (not too busy with a lot of stock images).

We are leaving you with the creative freedom to create something exiting, so even though your first thought would be to create a RedPebble logo in (retro) red - do anything you like with it! Could the 'dot' become a mascot for example?

Update: I mentioned we like retro style, but seem to be getting a lot of standard retro designs and this is not wat we are looking for.

• I'm afraid to add inspirational images, but the images provided might give an idea of what I'm looking for. However, I don't want to curb anyone's inspiration

Nice to have

• I like the Taca logo for example - simple and playful, not childish

• Nothing too classic, no standard stock images
