Logo Design Brief
I need a logo design for a new educational consulting, research, and development company. Our materials will focus on helpinjg to develop critical thinking and problem solving skills in sudents, begining with the preschool student through twelth grade. We have developed our first round of games and books. The products are highlighted on our website, djshomeroom.com. Our blog, Analogies for the Rest of Us also gives some background maerials.
The logo will be used on letterhead, presentation folders, envelopes and business cards. The logo and letterhead will be used for the formal aspects of the business and should be rather sophisticated, but not stodgy. I like the color palette of gray/silver/blue with a touch of bright.

Requirements
Must have
- Want to emphasize my credentials, (Ph.D.) but if this cannot be done without seeming to brag, do NOT include it. It can be placed on my business cards.
Nice to have
- If the analogical format (A : B :: C : D) could be subtly included, that might work, but it is not mandatory.
