Poster Design Brief

50 Shades of Grey, the global bestseller book by E.L. James, has been turned into a film slated for a cinema release in early 2015. The '50 Shades' phenomenon has taken the world by storm with its tale of romance and forbidden love. In anticipation of the movie, we've launched a contest that invites designers to submit alternative '50 Shades of...' movie poster designs.

Your job is to recreate the movie poster replacing the lead characters (Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele) with new ones, shift them around the poster design or create new poster designs all together. Satirical / humorous poster designs are welcomed and encouraged.

Designers are free to borrow/combine famous people / icons from films, cartoons, TV shows, pop culture, music to create a new '50 Shades of... ' movie poster design.

Here are some suggestions / ideas / angles:
- 50 Shades of the USA
- 50 Shades of the Muppets (Miss Piggy & Kermit, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, etc.)
- 50 Shades of Sesame St. (Bert & Ernie, Big Bird)
- 50 Shades of Dr. Dre
- 50 Shades of Disney (Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Beauty & the Beast, Frozen, etc.)
- 50 Shades of Lana Del Rey
- 50 Shades of Chevrolet
- Also, TV Shows like The Bold & the Beautiful or Young and the Restless

Your movie poster design must have a title. You can choose to use, the film's title "50 Shades of Grey" or create a new title as appropriate to your submission.

• The poster should be loosely based on the current official 50 Shades of Grey movie poster design but all elements are open to re-interpretation - from the person standing at the window, clothing, the view displayed from the window, title of the poster "Mr Grey will see you now". Feel free to play with the text and design elements to produce a humorous / satirical poster design.
