Logo Design Brief
We need a logo designed for a kayak and paddle board rental company in New Orleans. We are currently Bayou Kayaks, but are transitioning to Bayou Paddlesports to be able to gain traction in stand up paddle boards. While our primary business is rental, we are expanding to kayak and SUP sales, and guided excursions and dinner boat cruises. We would like to see designs that use the color blue. Our existing website is www.bayoukayaks.com, and our existing logo is uploaded. We also plan to use green as an accent color (attached)

Reason: I finally reviewed submissions with my business partner. It looks like we actually want to be less tied down to having a kayak, paddleboards, or paddles in the logo. We want to see the use of a pelican instead of a kayak or paddles.

We do not want to see a kayak or SUP, or paddling vessel of sorts. We dont want to be tied down as paddlesports evolve. We would like to have a pelican incorporated into the logo. may or maynot include paddles, water, Louisiana

Requirements
Must have
- It must have the color blue. We would like for the logo to be able to hold its own without "Bayou Paddlesports." The logo must easily reproducible to be one solid color, for single color print production.
Nice to have
- We like the idea of a brown pelican, the symbol of Louisiana, but we are not completely tied to this.
- We would also like paddling or water interaction to be incorporated with this idea.
Should not have
- The design should not be fully based on a kayak or typical rowing vessel, since we believe Stand UP Paddleboards will soon be the primary item we sell and rent.
