Icon Design Brief

I need a logo for my online education business, 'R3m3mb3r.It'. The tag line of the business is:

'R3m3mber.It All you need, in your head'.

The business provides 'Memory Efficient Learning' materials for students that are studying for professional exams. The idea is that the materials teach the syllabus content to the student, but they also structure and deliver the syllabus in a way which means it is incredibly easy for the student to commit the content to their long term memory. The key benefits for the students are:

1. They learn and memorise the syllabus as they work throughout it.

2. They save time when it comes to the revision stage because they don't have to re-learn loads of content that they previously forgotten along the way.

3. They are able to retain the content for use after the exam.

I have previously produced a logo (attached) which I am currently using and which uses the image of an elephant, because elephants never forget. I would like to carry one using an elephant related image, but if someone comes up with a killer logo which does not use an elephant I might be persuaded otherwise.

Additional Info for the brief:

I would probably like to still use an elephant in the logo, but would like it to be a different elephant. The elephant needs to be:

1. Friendly
2. Cartoonish
3. Visually linked to the idea of memory and never forgetting
4. The logo needs to look good on a website which has a white background

Requirements

Must have

• 1. Must have the 'www.R3m3mb3r.It' in the logo
  
  2. The size of the font of the 3 x '3's in the R3m3mb3r.It domain name should be reduced in size so that they look more like 'e's. The overall effect of the domain name should be that it looks as much like 'Remember.It' as possible, despite the fact it actually says 'R3m3mb3r.It'
  
  3. Must have an elephant, that is friendly looking, cartoonish and fun.
  
  4. Must have the tag line 'All you need, in your head' in the logo
  
  5. Must look good on a web page with a white background

Nice to have

• 1. Have some sort of reference to that fact that elephants never forget.
  
  2. The colours I have indicated below are preferences, not absolutes. I like these colours and they would work well with my website, but I could be persuaded by other colours if they look brilliant.
