T-shirt Design Brief

The Waterboys are a classic UK band formed in 1983 by Mike Scott. The band are preparing their 11th studio album and european tour and we looking for a shirt design that shows 4 members of the band as playing cards,
This could include Mike Scott as Ace, fiddle player Steve Wickham as a King, keyboardist Paul Brown as a jack, drummer Ralph Salmins as ten perhaps using the associated photos as a basis for each illustration

Alternative design suggestions are:
- A design based on Steve's fabulous jacket material
- An out of copyright image of 'The Return of Pan' and/or song title / lyric lettering around it - or Pan copied and treated or multiplied etc
- A drawing of the photo of Mike Scott's piano

Requirements

Must have

• Either drawings or photo manipulation will be fine, we generally like to keep the colour limit to 6, however we also have the ability to print up to 12 colours at an increased cost to us.
• PSD layered files are preferable, although vector files are also fine. Please submit designs that are no less than 300dpi.
• Design must be kept around 13 inches wide, no more than 15.

Nice to have

• It would be good to see how you envisage the design on a shirt with a colour suggestion, however not entirely necessary.

Should not have

• Please consider the design as you might see it on a shirt, this would mean no sudden borders, square or rectangular designs do not work well on a shirt.
