Logo Design Brief

I am an entrepreneur writer, yet to publish a book, and have several books I am composing to someday self-publish. I will publish them all under my start up book publishing company called ‘PAK Publishing’, also yet to publish anything. At this point in time I will publish only my books however, I am leaving the option open to take on other writers in the future.
Here is a little about who I am, colors I think may be a good fit for the project, and some pic ideas that I think may be good to somehow incorporate into the project.
I like traditional but modern, professional, serious but also a bit playful. I like these colors but do not need to stick with them (Yellow, Orange, and Grey). I portray these traits (knowledgeable, Intellect, Trust, Calm, Creativity, Balance, Sophistication, Friendly, Inventive). I like old style cartoons with frogs, mushrooms, and books (see file) for examples.
