Illustration Design Brief

Requirement is a high res original design for a children's e book. "The Dragon Fyre Blade - Lycanthor the Werewolf"

The book is a fantasy adventure for kids aimed 7 - 12 years of age. It's available now on Amazon - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LG9BFL2

This is the first in a series of 6 books. Each has an antagonist creature, in this case it is a werewolf.

I have a very clear view as to what I want and have attached some example art files from other books.

DESIGN REQUIREMENTS - SEE ATTACHED SKETCH.

Author name at top of design "AIDEN STORM"
Title Treatment "THE DRAGON FYRE BLADE" - would be ideal if the title could include a broadsword
central image - Lycanthor the werewolf leaping out, jaws wide open, saliva drooling from jagged teeth, claws outstreteched to attack. Werewolf should be muscular, dark grey/black furry and quite aggressive/scary looking.

Background colour = Green

Note - this is a e-book for kids, so will be viewed online, generally on small screens. As such it is important that there is very high contrast in the colours and that designs are fun, bright but not overly complex so that it is easy to see.

The attached Time Hunter book designs show a nice example.

Final delivery will require layered .PSD files.

Two audiences:

1. Readers = Children aged 7 - 12 years, more skewed to boys rather than girls
2. Parents/Grandparents = Adults aged 30+ who will make purchase decision
