Logo Design Brief
Note: This project will close after 5 days, but we will start selecting a logo winner in 3 days. We need to finalize the logo no later than Sunday 28 September.
Fun Land (2 words) is a new operator of children's play areas in the Middle East. Children's play areas, also known as FECs (Family Entertainment Areas), are usually found within shopping malls and often contain the following elements:
- Slides
- Ballistics area (shooting foam balls, e.g. ship versus pirates)
- Sport court(s), e.g. soccer / football, basketball
- Climbing Wall(s)
- Toddler soft play area
- Cartoon screening area (bean bags, watching cartoons, movies etc.)
- Village Square (pretend play areas around professional themes, e.g. hospital, police, cafe, fire station, etc. - designed like a high street / main street with different buildings for each play area)
- Party rooms (bookable private rooms for birthday parties etc.)
Our FEC concept is based on different zones which are connected to different countries or places around the world. For example, a soccer court might have a backdrop of Brazil. A car racing area might be set in Germany. A climbing wall might be set in the Himalayas, etc. This way, when kids go to Fun Land, they are also exploring the world, so to speak. Therefore, Fun Land means "a place to have fun" but also "a fun tour of the world").
Thank you and Good Luck!

Requirements
Must have
- The logo should be fairly simple, easy to read, kid friendly, and fun. Logo must be suitable for applications including signage, large scale illustrated backdrops, social media (Facebook), websites, etc.
Note: Fun Land should be written as two distinct words (Fun Land not Funland). Also, please note that this logo will be Arabized in the future, meaning your logo design will be transformed into an Arabic version to accompany the English version or, possibly, be used in standalone applications.
Nice to have
- We would prefer bright colors and most likely, simple sans serif fonts, due to the intended audience.
Should not have
- We do not have a logomark or animated character in the logo. However, we would consider inclusion of other visual elements in the logo that could make sense, aside from the words of the Fun Land name. We are open to design suggestions on this front. However, the logo should NOT include any animated characters, whether human or animals. This is due to a cultural sensitivity in our market. However, other visual elements (a globe, sun, clouds, mountains, trees etc etc.) are acceptable.
