Logo Design Brief

MMG is a French/Brazilian group, composed of former investment bankers and real estate brokers with more than 25 years of combined experience in the Brazilian real estate market.
MMG identified the real estate industry´s need for better services in brokerage, technology and consulting – the industry needs an efficient Marketplace
MMG is an independent real estate holding focused on providing integrated solutions in Brazil´s real estate sector. From investment to consulting, from brokerage to technology, from financing to marketing MMG is there with best of breed solutions.

Each company contributes to an integrated strategy. Sharing information and know-how as well as their corresponding networks ensure that MMC Investimentos (structuring and consulting), Premier (Real Estate Brokerage/Intermediation), MM Credito Imobiliário (mortgage intermediation) , I-Value (software) and Canal do Imovel (real estate portal) leverage on this integration.

To optimize our presence, MMG is actively involved in:

Real Estate Group
• Structuring and consulting (MMC Investimentos) – Over the past 18 months, we did an extensive research on the field and develop a complete vision of the brazilian real estate market. MMC plans real estate projects by coordinating every step of the value chain, from the fund raising to the retail sales. We are mainly focused on social housing and retrofit projects.

• Mortgages (MM Credito Imobiliario) – Low and middle income families experience difficulties, the administrative burden makes mortage aproval cumbersome. We created MMCI to facilitate this process between the end buyer and the Caixa Economica Federal (CEF, a public bank). We already cover the sale of 2 projects (500 units) and reached an approval rate of 85%. MMCI is currently involed in a project of 600 units in Campinas, a city 80km from São Paulo.

• Sales/real estate brokerage (Premier) – The main two brokers, Lopes and Brazil Brokers, dominate this segment with a combined 40% market share. The industry needs a third player able to meet the demand from small and medium size real estate promoters and their target clients, a segment often disregarded by Lopes and Brazil Brokers.
PREMIER Lançamentos (new Development) recently hired two very succesful and highly regarded sales professionals specialized on social housing promotion : Daniel Cruz, ex-sales director at Cyrela, and Cezar leal, ex-sales director at Itaplan. The team is comprised of 150 real estate agents an managed by Daniel Cruz.
The old housing brokerage is taken care of by PREMIER Amauri, an agency that brings a level of professionalism and expertise hardly matched by its competition. The team is comprised of 30 agents specialized on the old housing segment in São Paulo.


Technology
• CRM/Software (I-Value) – The real estate sector is growing fast and needed modern tools to accelerate the speed of sales. Therefore, MMG invested in I-Value (www.i-value.com.br), a company that develops CRM web-based solutions for real estate agencies. Through its online solutions, we have access to 1,400 agencies (about 10,000 brokers) in Brazil, which makes us the largest independent network in the country. Among our main clients are Century 21, RE/MAX and Sotheby’s.
Leveraging on our large client base, we benefit from very robust real-time databases and can adapt our strategy accordingly.

• Online portal (CanaldoImovel) – In addition to its management tools, I-Value created a real estate online portal a few years ago (www.canaldoimovel.com.br). After a year of redesigning and bringing the website up-to-date, through a partnership with the Middle-East leader (www.propertyfinder.ae), we launched a new version in November. Our database already includes more than 225,000 products, higher than any other competitor. Official launching is scheduled for the 1st semester of 2013.
You will find attached a presentation of the Group. Not included in this presentation is the activity Premier On (brokerage online) which have been created recently.

The logos
As you will see in the presentation few logos have already been created, and we do not need to redo it (unless you have any suggestions). The logos we don’t need to be rethought are:
1. I-Value
2. GaiaInc
3. CanaldoImovel
4. MMC Investimentos
5. MM Credito Imobiliario

The logos we need to do (4 logos total):
“MMG” – The holding company logo. This logo should communicate strength, reliability, interaction, professionalism. We do not have any prerequisites about color. We are thinking about the logo (even if a bit copied from Nokia) “Connecting Real Estate”. We like the shape of the Hebrew letters (same as Microsoft have been using for the new pack office) – but this is not a must.
“Premier” Logos: Premier is the real brokerage company and we will need 3 of them with Premier being the main brand. We need to have:
1. Premier Amauri: This logo will be used for our real estate agency (localized in a rich neighborhood) specialized in selling/renting used apartments
2. Premier Lancamentos: For the activity including our real estate brokers selling new developments (selling on plan)
3. Premier On: which will be on sales force online

Optional:
If you do want to redo all the logos and give them an homogeneity, this is not included in the price but this will be considered extremely carefully however it is important to highlight that canaldoimovel and i-value/valuegaia logos are already well-known.

Few comments:
1. After many suggestions we decided not to move forward with letters in hebrew/japanese therefore all logos with this type will be eliinated. Some of the ones we received were good, but we felt it was not aligned with a real estate company
2. Winners of the contest will onyl be designers who provide the 4 logos. Only MMG is not sufficient.
3. Please use the colors blue and orange with blue beine the main color. Please take a look at the logos MMC Investimentos, I-Value and MMcreditoimobiliario as a reference.
4. Do not forget the base line "Connecting Real Estate" for MMG logo
