We need a logo design for a new global community of amateur writers of short stories for children aged 5-12. We are on a mission to wonder-power little minds & hearts with values and skills needed in the 21st century. Our goal is to create a new genre in children's fiction that's based on wonder, rather than magic; relatable real-world heroes rather than imaginary superheros. Our initial focus is edutaining bedtime stories.
We would like to see typographic logo designs only. No graphics/illustrations. Colors: black, white, shades of gray. The final design should communicate unconditional commitment to wonder.
What we ARE looking for:
Aspirational but grounded in reality. Clean. Uncluttered. Unmistakably 21st century. Digital (all of our stories will be digitally published). Must appeal to ambitious professional moms & dads who are dead-set on doing everything they can to give their kids a good start in life. Cool. Elegant. Edgy. Ambitious. Clever.
What we are NOT looking for:
Colorful. Juvenile. Childish. Magical. Dreamy. Tapping into associations with past literary styles, printing presses, fairy tales, ink and handwriting.
