Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a dog rescue that rescues puppymill dogs from breeders. We rescue small breed dogs mostly and want a logo that is professional and attractive to identify who we are. Non Cartoon looking dogs. We want a serious but friendly elegant logo. Puppymill dogs are scared and caged in wire crates and are bred to almost death. We rescue them , vet care and rehabilitate so they can become family pets and have a great new life. We would like to maybe have 2 dogs with a big K design . We don't know just want something different, Silhouette's maybe . Dog in a dog?? Even a dog outline would be ok. Puppymill dogs are not real happy dogs but not mean dogs either.
