Illustration Design Brief
We are looking for an interior illustration of an Easter scene for a cardboard folio. Think 11" x 17", landscape orientation, folded in half. The folio opens to reveal the scene, of which, the right half will be speckled with FiberOptic lights. See "FO_Sample.jpg" for previous years' Christmas version for idea of final folio structure.
The schene should have the idea presented in the attachment "Easter_Photo_Folio_Reference.jpg". Basically, the concept we're looking for is a couple/few bunnies watching from a pier, or from shore, as colorful hot air baloons drop easter eggs. The scene should have a darker sky and be conducive to being lit up. We will be applying dozens of lights to the scene AFTER you submit the final art, so create with the idea of the final product being lighted with a hundred tiny colorful lights. The style should be painterly, not vector art. I am attaching one other Easter_Sample for inspiration. I liked the layout on this image and the play of the various elements against each other.
