Logo Design Brief

Website logo design for start-up business based in London UK (but moving location to Vancouver in a few years' time) - music composition and custom music production for various types of media, ie. video games, film trailer music, TV advertising, corporate branding (custom on-hold music, radio jingles), etc.

For the logo itself, one possible idea I had was stylised "M" (see ideas attached), rectangular-ish shape perhaps, more wide than tall, ideally with rounded corners (possibly a ribbon-flow design?), with the name of the company written either below or to the left or right of the logo. I have no preference on font, although I am leaning towards capitals only, as opposed to mixed case. However, if other design ideas seem approprite, I'd be happy to consider.

The logo and company name should be separated by a line (probably blue or grey) - if logo to the left, then vertical line, if logo above, horizontal line.

Please also add a slogan / tagline in some sort of serif font, in grey under the company name, aligned right. We don't actually have the slogan yet, so feel free to make something up, just to see how it looks.

In terms of colour scheme, I was thinking yellow, green and blue (like the simplest form of each), to avoid "sharp" colours like red, purple, etc, and I'm after a 3D look with shadows, highlights, etc (see file "can-stock-photo_csp7826727" attached) - uses of white / grey / black most welcome alongside the 3 colours.

One thing to avoid please: actual musical symbols or notation - this is a little too "on the nose".

Those are by no means definite must-haves - I would glady consider any suggestions that you might have, as long as it fits the brand and what it does.

I have included a few images as reference - the actual images are desings that I like and the hand-drawn ones were simple ideas only for comparison.
