T-shirt Design Brief
Hi,
I am in need of a 3 colour (or less) design for screen printing. It is for a hip hop artist 'Lariken'. It should retain some sort of hip hop or urban feel but not stay too close to that vision either. Lariken's personality is also about being happy, mischeivous and also slightly hipster so something that also brings that into the design is necessary. He is also known for having a smiley face on some of his previous works so that may be incorporated, although it's not required. The design must use no more than 3 solid colours, no gradients. It should also be kept within a square canvas size and will need to be scaleable (ie. vectors). The design may be printed on various colour shirts so the ability to swap colours (eg. a white for a black) is important. The word Lariken must be on the shirt. Final design should seem happy, silly but also retain something of a musical and hip hop feel.
Colours will need to be able to be separated for screen printing.
Most importantly, these need to be shirts that people will want to wear, something fashionable. 2nd place payment of $100 has been added.

Requirements
Must have
- - No more than 3 colours. May have less.
- - scaleable
Should not have
- - Try not to be too heavy handed with the 'hiphop' theme.
- - Please don't insert the words 'hip hop' onto the design. We shouldn't have to tell people that message directly and we want the hip hop theme to be subtle.
- - No images of people that aren't the artist. Inserting people into the design that aren't the artist causes weird messaging. Cartoon characters are fine though.
