Label Design Brief
This massage oil has been in Australia for over 20 years and needs a new label for its plastic 250ml bottles. The current label (8cm x 8cm) looks old fashioned and so we are looking for something that reflects freedom, relaxation, inspiration. The product is made from sweet almond oil and has different essential oils used to give unique smells. I have seen some lovely abstract vector images. I think we need a clean straight look with bright colours. There are currently six variations to the product. "Sore and Tire Minds, Sore and Tired Bodies, Lovers Blend, Lavender Bath Oil, Relaxation Blend, Re-Energise Blend" Different coloured labels have been used for each of the blends. I have included photos of existing bottles plus some ideas for the labels.
I would like to use the same font on the name of the brand Rivendell Farm. If we change the font it may be difficult for existing customers to find our product.
Also just under the name Rivendell Farm I would like to insert a type of logo (can be the shape of a tear drop or round circle) to say:
Massage Oil
Since 1970
The size of the label is 8cm x 12 cm for the front and the same size for the back of the label.
Updates
Australian Massage oil Company has posted on the brief some images from Shutterstock plus two photos of the original bottles. I am looking for a new design which is bright in colour, fun and funky. I am not thinking along the lines of the traditional Herb and trees look. I think the original label is too busy and the colours overpower the label.
The other point I think that is important is that the product has been around since 1970. If there is room I think a round logo which says:
Massage Oil
Since 1970
I am hoping that we can fit this information on the label
Looking forward to seeing all the designs come thru. So far I have only had two designs come thru.

I have now edited the brief to include some more ideas on how to make this design the Best!
I will email back to you straight away ideas and thoughts on your designs.

Target Market(s)
The type of person purchasing a massage oil blend will buy from a health food shop, pharmacy or from an on-line store. I believe they are wanting something bright that clearly communicates that that it is a massage oil.
