Signage Design Brief
We are looking to get a logo design and signage design for our startup business in which we manufacture a firestarters to aid in starting camp fires, wood stoves, charcoal chimneys, etc. Our product is made up of a mixture of wax and sawdust and is placed in wax souffle cups with a wick for easier ignition. The name of the product is E-Z Fire. The hyphen must be included in the name because of trademark issues. We are selling these at the retail level in convenience stores, beer distributors, hardware stores, camping supply stores, etc. Our product will not be individually packaged, but placed in a rustic looking wooden crate the size of 12 inches by 12 inches (1 sq.ft)and the height will be around 4 inches. The signage will be attached to the back of the crate and stick up above approximately 8 inches or more. We are really targeting impulse buyers at the checkout counter when mainly campers and backpackers are getting they're supplies for their trip. With that being said, the graphics should really capture they're attention and make them want to buy it and know that the product is very useful. A list of people that we are targeting and who would benefit from our product should be included in the design. Those would include: Campers, Hikers, Survival Kits, Wood stoves, Fireplaces, Charcoal Starter. A descriptive list of what they are and do should be included on the signage as well. Those would include: Made in the USA, All Natural, 100% Waterproof, Burns 15 Minutes or More. At the bottom in small print, there should be a warning explaining that they are not candles, and should never be lit or burned inside. For outside use only. Also in small print at bottom, it should include manufactured by Forward Industries, Pittsfield PA .Thank You, and we look forward to working with a designer. A picture has been added of the product. The wicks are going to be green and blue for the final product.
