Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for our sailing center in Newport Beach, CA. This center is the umbrella company for our award-winning Newport Beach Sailing School (www.newportbeachsail.com) and highly reputable Newport Beach Sailing Charters (www.sailnewportbeach.com). We cater to an affluent clientele and provide 5 star private instruction or charter experiences. We have never had a logo for the Newport Beach Sailing Center because we have always spent our energy branding the sailing school and sailing center. Now, we are growing and need to have a logo for the umbrella company! We would like to incorporate or create some synergy with our two existing logos for the sailing school and sailing charters (attached). They are already somewhat recognizable, so we are thinking that if we can incorporate those elements, somehow, that it could feel familiar to the customer. If incorporating a compass and a sailboat work, that could be one angle for the logo. Nautical colors we like the most are dark red, navy blue, royal blue, black, gold and silver. Want to convey stability and authority on the subject of sailing.
