Logo Design Brief

I would like my logo freshened up. I am not in love with the feel of it right now and I no longer have a high res original file for it because it has been so long since it was designed. I am attaching a photo of it to work off of. I don't want it changed so much that it's no longer identifiable as us. Our higher end natural salon and spa called Avalon has been in business with this logo for 6 years. Basically what I am looking for is someone who can take the general idea of this logo and make me fall in love with it again. I also want the Salon & Spa portion of the logo to be more noticeable and legible on signs. I would also like to keep those words somewhere where they could still be cropped out and I can use the logo without that lettering. I am not interested in cartooning or graffiti like graphics. It needs to be high end and very legible.
