T-shirt Design Brief

Designers, thank you for your submissions and I apologize for not giving you timely feedback. (This project got lost in the Chrismas/New Years chaos.) At the end of this 5 day extension I will be choosing a winner. We still need new t-shirt designs and I'm looking for designs that feature our registered trademark, "AMERICAN to the CORE", in a bold and interesting way. I prefer simpler designs, without too much ornamentation. Fonts should have a 19th century western flavor, but nothing too kitschy, please.

We're a small hard cider company in the town of Julian, CA and we need several cool new t-shirt designs to sell to our customers online and at our new, expanded tasting room. Julian is a small town that was founded during the California Gold Rush. While all of our current logos, t-shirts, etc, reflect the fonts & imagery of our town's 19th Century heritage, designer are encouraged to have some fun and be playful with their designs. Our current logos are very "Americana", with an eagle, crossed pickaxes, and old-fashioned fonts.

I would definitely like to see some designs with "American to the Core" and/or Julian Hard Cider" printed on the front, but not just cutting and pasting our logo. Mix it up with different designs, fonts and graphic elements. If I just wanted our logo pasted to a shirt, I could do that myself. And nothing to busy. Simpler designs are better.

Our trademarked slogan is "American to the Core". Winning design must incorporate this, with the "Circled-R" registered trademark symbol.

We'd like to see t-shirt designs that focus on the overall brand. You are invited to submit a single design or multiple designs. The winner will be the designer with the best design/designs, not the most. If we receive designs from several designers that we like, we will commit additional funds to the contest and designate multiple winners.
