Independent Movie Teaser Poster

Hi Ethan,
Thanks for the invite. A few questions:
1. What's the size?
2. Any specifics on car model? Vintage truck type?
Cheers,
Myish
Hi Myish,
thanks for reaching out. For dimensions, I was thinking traditional movie one-sheet, which Wikipedia leads me to believe is 27x40 in. However, since we're not actually planning on hanging this on a wall, the resolution doesn't need to be that high. Standard print resolution (720 dpi) should be fine. Does that answer your question?
As for the car, I guess I should have mentioned that in the post, so thanks for bringing it to my attention. It shouldn't be particularly nice, sort of a beaten-up sedan along the lines of a 90s-era Toyota Corolla. I don't want to get hung up on color, since I don't want to throw off the colors on the poster.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Ethan
The standard is 300 dpi for print and 72 dpi for web. Would 8.5 x11 (300 dpi) suffice?
Or a proportion of 27x40 but in 300 dpi?
I don't see why not!
Ethan
Just saw your second message-if 300 dpi is the standard, that's great, and if we could use the 27x40 proportions I mentioned that would be great too.
Ethan
Great! Thanks.
Can We get a brief description of the plot?
So the photo can have context.
IS the car in the film a toyota corolla?
Jackson
does it have to be a picture a road like that or like utah. I live in miami, florida we don't have things like that.
but I can offer you a very creative design of a road with cars, but do you still want to stick with the picture?
Yeah, the southwestern location and the road are important to the story, so i want to stick with those. Hope you still submit a design.
