Hi, I have a question about the company name : Coq & Co. Is there a meaning of Coq here? And do you have any color scheme do you like? Usually blue is common color for fund industry. Thanks

Thank you for these questions.

Coq means rooster in French, which could be understood as the ruler and protector of a yard, as well as the one who yells different signals to the whole neighborhood, but that's not really the point. 
I don't like literal interpretations and representations, and this is merely a nickname I got, thus shouldn't be central to the design. It could be alluded to though. 

Please don't do anything common to the fund industry. I don't like commonalty whatsoever. 

My preferred colors are those with depth, with pastel rather shinny qualities, usually in the darker range. This design should be empowered, but not aggressive. Sovereign, but subtle.
