Anesthetic Skin Numbing Cream used for numbing skin before tattoos, waxing, laser hair removal and small cosmetic procedures.
Direct to end user and also to salons and studios.
Current product is selling but we are after a complete overhaul.

Packaging design for the brand DEEVEEANT NUMB®

2 components -

1. TUBE/OUTER PACKAGING design

and

2. "3D" style graphics/images suitable for marketing

This job is for the design of tube/packaging & the rendering of 3D style images suitable for website promotion etc

Adobe Illustrator file (.ai) using supplied template for die lines prior to printing/manufacture.

PNG files for 3D style renderings of front, back, side, and angled left and right.

Outer Packaging:

Adobe Illustrator file (.ai) using supplied template for die lines prior to printing/manufacture

PNG files for some 3D style renderings of front, back, side, and angled left and right.

WHAT IS THE PRODUCT?

It is an anesthetic skin numbing cream.

Please google “numbing cream”- images and you’ll get an idea of the 3D styling required.

But - please think “outside the box” and design something that is NOT a copy or modelled off existing brands. We want something completely new to stand out from the crowd without being too "Over The Top."

Keep the core demographic in mind.

DEMOGRAPHIC

The target market will be for tattoos, waxing, laser hair removal - Mainly for 18-40 year olds, male/female.

We are after a visually striking design that will attract the eye and be appealing to our target market- but also a nice clean, uncluttered design.

This market is slightly edgy, younger, and want a brand they can identify with.

Design should be such that the styling lends itself to other products that we are developing within this similar niche and our brand of DEEVEEANT.

Incorporation of our Logo in a stylish way is a must.

LOGO INCLUDED - Attachment

Supplied is our "Branding Logo" that is to be incorporated onto both the tube and outer packaging.

Note that the logo designs supplied (.ai files) have both a black background and a white background. Personally we think the black background "pops" a bit more, and if this logo can be stylishly used that would be great.

HOWEVER, IF you can make it with the white background to look better, then great.

TEMPLATES - Attachment

2 Templates are supplied - 1 x Tube & 1 x Outer Package

It is for an FDA regulated drug.

The fonts/text on the templates are representative of the WORDING required.

Positioning within each panel can be altered to suit the design, this is for your guidance.

Bar code, NDC code, company logo and other required info will all be supplied.

Your job is to come up with a great design.

Template provided in Adobe Illustrator (.ai) and must be delivered as same.

COLORS

Currently we utilise orange & black, and we think these neutral colors work well with this market.

Using extra colors comes down to your design, but keep in mind that too many colors can lose impact and not print well.

Remember this will be printed on a plastic tube and a cardboard outer packaging - so the design must be able to look good on a physical product.

Not just on a digital website.

UNIQUE SELLING POINT

Our cream has both Tea Tree & Aloe in the ingredients, and if they can be highlighted in some visual way without detracting from the overall design that would be great.

Use your skills here to represent this as best you can without making it be the main focus.

LOGO

The logo is provided and shall be used for the word “Deeveeant” within “Deeveeant Numb”

Probably best to use the same font for “Numb” word as well. Designer has choice for font style for other wording, but a key is consistency.

DRUG FACTS PANEL

Within the supplied templates is a drug facts label that will require some small text changes. WE will make those changes and forward the updated Drug Facts Panel to you.

However the existing panel DIMENSIONS within the template will not change, so you can go ahead and make your design, and we will forward the updated panel asap.

NDC CODE (a string of numbers eg/ 12345 6789)

We are still awaiting the receipt of the NDC code, and it may not arrive until after the contest is complete and the winner chosen, and the final adjustments to design made.

In that case all I will request is that as soon as NDC is available I can email you and you can quickly insert it in the appropriate area on the design. This may be a week or so after the design is complete, but will take you less than a minute to do.

IMPORTANT

We do not want any photos of people incorporated into the design.

We do not have a blank "3D" style tube for you to use to wrap your label around when creating the promotion style images.

Please do your very best to create one.

There are some photos of the exact type of tube to be used as guidance.
