Web Design Brief

I am looking for someone to design a landing/home page for my website. The website will be developed using Wordpress, so please make sure your designs are compatible.

Please note the following design guidelines about the page:
1. The website is for a yoga studio called “Satya Yoga”. The logo for our studio has been uploaded on along with this project. Satya in Sanskrit means Truth and Yoga means unity or unification (with supreme consciousness).
2. The Yoga studio will probably the first of its kinda to offer true, authentic, spiritual experience to students in South Africa. More than that, it aims to setup itself as a hub for spiritualists and seekers irrespective of beliefs, religion and what philosophies they subscribe to.
3. Unlike modern schools, this school focuses on true elements of yoga - and teaches Yoga the way it was meant to be - no westernisation. Must have a peaceful, clam, very clean and spiritual look.
4. Please pay careful attention to the logo, color schemes and the simple design. The site must reflect exactly the same principles.
5. Please use the latest web design trends and ideas in your design. You are free to be as creative as you want.
6. You are free to combine or use design concepts from other philosophies such as Sufism, Bahai, Tantra, Buddhism etc. as long as it gels well with the Yoga theme.
7. The overall site should give a very sensual, feminine and very mystic feel.

Functionality, features and guidelines for the main page design:
1. The main page should give a very clean, expansive, clutter free look.
2. The designer should find a clean way to fit all the following links/information into a main page. First prize if the designer could fit everything in a “single screen” - no scrolling.
3. Visually, the following information must be presented on the main page:
1. The name/logo of the studio.
2. The following sections of the website should have a link on the main page. Sub items represent sub sections within a section.

6. A section for photo gallery - the gallery can be categorised in albums. The main page can display a limited number of images and clicking on the image should take user to our flicker account.
7. Lastly, a nice and clean way to show our activity on various social media streams such as facebook, twitter, flickr, Facebook page, google plus etc.

Please do not limit yourself to the brief above. If you any creative ideas or concepts, please feel free to experiment and suggest new features. Use you full creativity.
