Illustration Design Brief
Make an illustration from a photograph of a magical market stall.
The illustration will be used on the front cover of a promotional brochure and on a website.
The photograph (see 'Main Pic' attached) shows the market stall as a work in progress. The illustration will show how the market stall will look when completed.
Certain elements within the main illustration will be detachable so that they can be used to illustrate other pages within the brochure/website.
A new product (see Cam in a Bag attached) will be sold on the market stall. This product should be shown somewhere in the illustration. The bag containing the product can be seen on the faux railings in the attached pictures. The bag should have the text 'Cam in a Bag' on it.
Other products, mostly toys, games and puzzles, will also be sold on the stall. See http://icofcam.myshopify.com/collections/all for an idea of the types of products sold. These products should be drawn on the shelves of the display units. A photograph showing an earlier iteration of the stall, with products on the shelves, is attached (see 'stall with backdrop2'), for your guidance.
You will be able to make use of certain pre-existing 2D design elements within the illustration. These include logos and a coat of arms ('crest2' attached).

It is very likely that further illustrations will be required in order to complete this project. These requirements will probably be met by commissioning the winning illustrator to work on designs for which payment is guaranteed.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: The deadline has been extended as nothing yet submitted really stands out. I'll put more work into the brief. Thank you to all the designers who have submitted work so far.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: There have been quite a few late entries to the competition and some of the earlier designs are progressing well. So, in order to give everyone a fair chance to produce their best work, I've extended the deadline by another five days.
