Logo Design Brief
We need an overarching theme with a tagline and logo for the charity portion of Mattress Firm's Foundation.
We recently started to support the research & awareness of the 4th leading cause of cancer deaths - pancreatic cancer. Our foundation is in its early stages, but we have plans to create several events (walks, fundraisers, in-store graphics & donations). All proceeds will go toward globalCure - an exciting new initiative that embraces an array of groups in a coordinated effort to help pancreatic cancer patients in the near-term and ultimately find a cure to pancreatic cancer in our lifetime.
Mattress Firm is a specialty mattress retailer with over 700 stores nationwide. We hope to use our presence to put a spotlight on the need for awareness & raise money to fight this deadly disease.
Updates
The name of the company is Mattress Firm Foundation. It is the charity focus of national bedding retailer, Mattress Firm.
This project is pretty open for creative interpretation since you can incorporate your own tagline that highlights the focus of the foundation - finding a cure for pancreatic cancer.
The official awareness color for pancreatic cancer is purple, so it should incorporate that somewhere in the logo. Other than that, you can add any creative elements that are appropriate.
For more context, Mattress Firm has over 700 stores nationwide and is continuing to grow. Our hope is that we can use our size to help bring awareness to this deadly disease. Mattress Firm's tagline is Save Money. Sleep Happy. Our purpose is to improve lives one night at a time.

- We want the Foundation logo to be easily recognizable and have the ability to use in multiple applications (print, TV, posters, web, fundraising events, T-shirts). It must use the color purple (the official color of pancreatic awareness). Keep it clean and simple.

- Could incorporate the purple ribbon or a play on words that links Mattress Firm to the fight against pancreatic cancer.
